SUMMARY:Final details for the Christmas Concert
DESCRIPTION:This Christmas event for friends and family has become an annua
 l occasion since the Dogsthorpe Methodist Church became our permanent rehe
 arsal venue.\n\nThe evening begins at 8.00pm with a selection of repertoir
 e songs directed by our Co-directors\, followed by a selection of Christma
 s favourites. Entry is free\, but donations to the church for the refreshm
 ents will be greatly received.\n\nRefreshments will then be served by the 
 church.\n\nAfter the break\, there will be some carols for the audience t
 o join in\, to give everyone some Christmas cheer.\n\nFinally\, the  part
 icipants of our recent 'Love to Sing' course will  join the chorus on the
  risers to sing 'With a little help from my friends' directed by Helen Gla
 vina (our course Musical Director). This will be the culmination of a 5-we
 ek singing course.\n\nIt promises to be an entertaining evening.  Everyon
 e is welcome to come along.\n\nLast year's concert raised over £300 which
